GIS is so multi-layered---when is the demo? It is easy to understand the geographic uses but the $$$ related uses (except for marketing) less obvious to me.

I will be giving a presentation that will be open to all library faculty and staff (who are interested) later this semester. I will talk about what GIS is, what you can use it for, and where you can find data and resources to use with it. I will post dates (I'll schedule two identical sessions) once I've finished preparing the presentation and have checked the calendar to avoid conflicts (to the extent possible).
