NASDAQ CEO on writing and critical thinking

In his interview here at Baruch last night, Robert Greifeld, President and CEO of the Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc., told Baruch students he was an English graduate from Iona College. When asked later by a student how being an English major had helped him, Greifeld stressed the importance of writing in business. Being an English major had helped his writing as it developed critical thinking skills. He stressed the importance of well-written e-mail communications. The interview was taped so I am sure that it will be available in the future. (Greifeld also earned an MBA from NYU.)
